Wow, yesterday’s news has a lot of us speechless. I cannot believe that Michael Jackson is gone. We are losing so many greats: Luther Vandross, James Brown, Aaliyah, Lefteye, & more. How sad.
For me & my Michael memories, they deal with my family. I remember his “Thriller” album playing in our home. It wasn’t a CD, but a tape! I think we played that tape until we wore it out. I was really young at the time, but I do remember watching the entire “Thriller” video thinking it was awesome (although it was a mini movie rather than a video *smile*)
As I got “older” & went to college, I remember Michael’s “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough” playing @ “Grown Folks Friday”. What memories!
I know that there’s so much more that I can write, but I’ll be typing for a while. I pray that he’s in a better play & has that happiness that he had been seeking all of his life. I think that he was a very lonely person, although he made such a huge impact on many. Let us pray for the Jackson family; what a tremendous loss.
Live each day as if it’s your last; enjoy your blessings. Let your loved ones know what they mean to you. Life is too short.
Until next time.
Blessings,
~Lisi P.
