Scripture: II Corinthians 13:8 For we cannot oppose the truth, but must always stand for the truth. (NLT)
Nugget: Many of us have heard the saying, “The truth will speak for itself.” Basically, the truth will come through loud & clear; also, it has a way of coming out when some want it hidden. Although it can be difficult for many, it’s usually best to walk in the truth from the beginning rather than to hide behind a lie/etc.
The ‘truth’ in this scripture can relate to so many things in our lives: the truth of God & His word, the truth about things that are hard for us to face, the truth about our situations & circumstances, & the list can go on and on. But when we walk in the truth, face it with God on our side, things have a way of coming together in our favor—even with the road being tough at times, don’t underestimate the power of the truth & how you can grow from it.
