Scripture: Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will repay him for his deed. (ESV)
Nugget: Giving back is one of the best things that we can do. There’s something in helping others that should touch our hearts & spirit. In reality, most of us live in excess (I’m not saying everyone does!), but usually there’s that something we can give to help another individual in need (whether it be time, money, clothing, assistance going to the store, etc.). Also, at times, we don’t realize how blessed we are until we see the plight of others.
In what ways has God put it on your heart to help someone? Have you taken the steps to do so?
