Scripture: Isaiah 43:1 But now, this is what the LORD says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. (NIV)
Nugget: Most times, we get so caught up in what other people say about us, what they think about us, what they say we should do, what they say would should’ve done, etc. However, how many times do we turn this around and ask “What does the Lord say?” People tend to put more value in what others say, rather than what God says. This truly shows where our minds can be because who knows us better than the one who formed us?
God’s word, direction, & guidance are complete; there should be no one or nothing we put over Him; of course, He can send wise counsel through others, but we must pray for discernment regarding this.
Remember: “What does the Lord say?” about you, your situation, your prayers, etc. This is what matters; He knows us better than anyone.
