Scripture: Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
Nugget: One of the ministers mentioned in his sermon yesterday, “You may know God, but do you trust Him?” Such a profound statement; many of us state that we trust God, but do we really? What do we do when the challenging times arise? When we have some form of doubt? Do we lean closer to Him, or do we question what we’re going through? I can say that I’m guilty of faltering! But thank God He is a forgiving God, a just God.
God is consistently consistent! He knows when we trust Him; He knows when we are in doubt. Sometimes what we are going through is for the purpose of building trust & faith in Him—to experience growth in our relationship with Him.
No matter what you may have going on, no matter what doubt you may be experiencing, your strong hold, our Lord, is there with you. Put your trust in the most consistent part of your life! You can’t go wrong with Him!
