Daily Scriptures 9/27/11

Scriptures: Psalm 89:47-48 47Remember how short my life is, how empty and futile this human existence! 48No one can live forever; all will die. No one can escape the power of the grave. (NLT)

Nugget: Daily, I’m reminded of how precious life is. There is so much left on my “to-do” list; however, time is not on my side. We must remember that each day is a gift; more importantly, that time is a gift from God that we must appreciate. However, time isn’t necessarily always on our sides!

God is the only one who knows when our last days on earth will be; don’t lose sight of how precious life is. Is there something you’re seeking to accomplish? Then work towards it. Are there things on your “to-do” and bucket lists that you haven’t begun to do? Then start. Do not wait until the last minute to get these things done—the time is now.
