Movie Watching

Most of us have that one movie we can watch over & over again. The one movie that no matter how many times you watch it, you still see something you never saw the million of other times you put in the DVD! That movie for me is Tyler Perry’s “Diary of a Mad Black Woman”. (The movie & not the play).

The movie is about Helen & Charles McCarter & their marriage. Kimberly Elise plays Helen & Charles is played by Steve Harris. We must not forget the fine Shemar Moore, who’s thrown in the mix (he plays Orlando). Then there’s the ever-wise Madea, played by Tyler Perry himself.

I think the things I like the most about the movie are: understanding that God’s plan is bigger than ours, understanding the concept of forgiveness, learning that people can change, & learning to let go of the things & the people that are hindering growth & peace in your life. Of course, there’s the “happily ever after” feeling too, but there’s a process to get there.

Here’s a clip of the movie. Catch it on DVD if you get the chance:

Until next time.

Blessings,
