Scripture: Proverbs 9 v 7: He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame; and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot. Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee; rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Nugget: Be careful who you rebuke – “he that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame; and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot”. Even knowing who to rebuke, how to rebuke, when to rebuke requires discernment. Not everyone is willing to receive; at times it’s truly best to just mind your own business.
