Daily Scriptures 5/27/11

Scriptures: Psalm 3:1-3 1LORD, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! 2Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.” 3But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. (NIV)

Nugget: It’s amazing to look back over our lives & the things that “people said” about us. We all have had the naysayers cross our paths; bringing both discouragement & negativity. BUT GOD has the final say-so. What God says about us is most important!

People may say you’ll never change, but God has changing power. People may say you’ll never be anything, but God says that we are wonderfully made! I thank God for seeing beyond me & seeing what He intends for me to be & continuing to guide me to be that person!

When you find yourself in the midst of “what people say”, think of “BUT GOD”. Because what He sees is beyond compare.

Quote: “My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and my talents and I lay them both at his feet.” –Mahatma Gandhi

  1. Amen! Good reminder… God has the final say-so. That should be ingrained in our brain!

God bless you Lisi and have a great Memorial Day weekend 🙂
