Daily Scriptures 4/11/12

Scripture: II Corinthians 5:9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. (NKJV)

Nugget: This scripture reminds me of the saying, “What would Jesus do?” We should make it our aim to have our actions, thoughts, deeds, words, etc. be pleasing to Him. Anything outside of this is usually going in the wrong direction.

Think today & act today in ways that are pleasing to Him; make it your goal to act how Jesus expects us to act, do the things He’d want you to do, & think, “What would Jesus do?”

Quote: “Hang that question up in your houses, “What would Jesus do?” and then think of another, “How would Jesus do it?” for what He would do, and how He would do it, may always stand as the best guide to us.” -Charles Spurgeon
