Daily Scriptures 5/15/12

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 11:5 As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. (NIV)

Nugget: There are many things we cannot explain or understand about God & His magnificent works. There are times when I sit & look at the sky, people, & God’s many great creations in complete amazement. My thoughts usually contain the question, “God, how did you create all of this?” It’s as if He made the world His canvas & continued to create & to “draw” everything in its appropriate place & time.

We must take the time out of each day to enjoy the creations of the Maker of all things. Let’s not be too busy that we take the beauty around us for granted. The work of God is definitely to be appreciated.

Quote: “Love all God’s creation, the whole and every grain of sand of it. Love every leaf, every ray of God’s light. Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.” -Fyodor Dostoyevsky
