Scriptures: Romans 5:3-5 3And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (NKJV)
Nugget: These scriptures speak to me & my current situations; they’ve been ones that I’ve said to myself as I go through challenging times. I’m learning that challenges are what God uses to develop something in us; by testing us, we’re growing in our walk with Him, faith, & definitely within ourselves.
Tribulation produces perseverance (we learn about being steadfast in God & in ourselves); we build character (we develop something in ourselves that we didn’t know we had, further, our character grows to new levels from where they currently are); our hope grows (our hope & faith in God are stronger, this hope that only God can provide does not disappoint us, but shows his unyielding love for us).
In your struggles, challenges, & tough times, God is there. Don’t lose sight of the good that can come out of these instances, because what we’re going through isn’t in vain. It’s to build something that can only come from these situations. The best part is we aren’t alone through any of it! God is always there.
Don’t give up; there’s a blessing in the midst of every storm.
Quote: “While you are going through your trial, you can recall your past victories and count the blessings that you do have with a sure hope of greater ones to allow if you are faithful.” -Ezra Taft Benson
