Scripture: Galatians 2:20 My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (NLT)
Nugget: Sometimes, I sit and reflect on all that God has done for me. The most important of these is that He gave His son, Jesus, to die for me & my sins. I’m sure that many would not give their children, nieces, nephews, etc. to do the same for us. It’s amazing the magnitude that God’s love for us reaches.
In Christ, we are new people; we are no longer who we used to be. Once He’s came into our hearts, newness was created. There’s no reason for us to hold onto the “old” individuals we were, as this has been crucified with Jesus.
Trust in God & who He has called you to be; trust that Jesus is in you & continuing to work a change in you that can only come from his love, mercy, & grace.
