Scriptures: Psalm 103:14-16 14For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. 15As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. 16For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more. (NKJV)
Nugget: “Life is short”, it’s something that I’ve said more & more as time flies by. The thing is knowing this & doing something about it. I began to ask myself, “Am I living as if life is short? Like it’s a gift? Like today could be my last day?”, and if not, what could I do to change this?
I’m learning to take time to do the things I’ve been putting off doing. I’ve been taking the time to spend with & to talk to friends & family that mean the world to me. I’ve been taking the time to reconnect & to spend with God. Just the peace in learning to slow down has been a gift!
Don’t let life pass you by; enjoy the journey. As these scriptures state, “We are dust. The wind passes over it, and it is gone.” Powerful words to consider!
Quote: “Today, just take time to smell the roses, enjoy those little things about your life, your family, spouse, friends, job. Forget about the thorns – the pains and problems they cause you – and enjoy life.” –Bernard Kelvin Clive
