Scripture: Proverbs 21:20 In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has. (NIV)
Nugget: This scripture reminds me to “prepare for later”. We’ve all heard advice from the wise about “preparing for a rainy day”, but we probably didn’t take heed to it.
This scripture states that in the house of the wise, there are stores of food & oil, but a foolish man basically spends all he has. The wise person was in preparation, while the opposite was occurring elsewhere.
Think about & put into action ways you can be prepared; have your mind, home, spirit, etc. in order. This doesn’t necessarily mean monetary preparation only, but overall personal preparation. If self is right, everything else tends to fall into place.
