Scripture: I Samuel 15:24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
Nugget: Saul was explaining to Samuel the reason for his disobedience – he feared the people. The fear of man is a snare. It is the challenge most of us face in various areas of our lives – fear of man aka peer approval aka people pleasing. We need to get to a point where we are freed from what people think of us, or what we feel they can do to us. The same God who has commanded you to do X, is more than willing and able to keep you.
