Scriptures: Proverbs 31:11-14 11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. 13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. 14She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
Nugget: Some indicators of a virtuous woman: (i) You can safely trust her
(ii) You believe she will do you good always (not some days, not when she is happy, not when things are good – but always; all the days of her life)
(iii) She is productive. Please note, not that she has a career; or that she works outside the home. Productive. Could be that but not necessarily. Self-motivated (seeketh wool and flax; worketh willingly).
Other qualities include: kindness; wisdom; heart for the needy; great dresser and takes good care of her body (and all the men said – amen!). A lot more qualities described in Proverbs 31. Worth a read and serious reflection.
