Scriptures: I Peter 2:1-3 1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
Nugget: There are some things & people we need to put aside in order to grow in God. These scriptures mention “as newborn babes” we should want to be taught God’s word. I think of children who are willing to learn & are full of questions, seeking answers. If we had this same mindset, just imagine the possibilities!! We all know God’s goodness, now let’s learn all we can in order to mature in our walks with God.
