Scripture: Revelation 3:8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. (NIV)
Nugget: There are doors that only God can open & only doors that He can shut. But in either instance, when God does it, He does it & no one can change what His divine hands have done.
I think back on the many doors that God has both opened & closed for me & His continuous hands in my life. These were the doors that people would say that I couldn’t walk through & would say that this “would never happen.” But God…..He’s too amazing not to let His plans for my life prevail. In the instances where the doors were closed, it was a blessing I didn’t understand at the time.
We must have the faith to know that whatever God will bring to pass will happen; His open & closed doors are indicators of His plans & will for our lives. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
