Election Day 2008!!!!

Election Day 2008 is finally here!!! Goodness, it seems like it took this day forever to arrive. This day is history in the making, regardless of the outcome. There are many first-time voters out there who are taking the steps to get out there & vote. A right that so many people have fought to have. That’s why I cannot believe that there are those who still don’t get out & vote!

We must realize that whoever wins, it’s in God’s hands & will. We must pray for whoever gets in office, because whoever gets in there will have a lot of work to do to make up for these past years! That’s why we have to focus on God & not put our trust in man. God is the end-all & be-all.

On another note, let’s keep the Obama family in our prayers. He lost his grandmother on yesterday; what a sad occurrence. I feel for him & his family. The good thing is, she got to see her grandson make history!!! She has to be smiling down, along w/ his mother & father.

Get out there & vote & be a part of this historical election. Many people’s dreams are coming true by just getting out there & imagining the possibilities of what will happen. Be patient in the lines, be prepared to wait (have water bottles, umbrellas, magazines, etc.), & know that everyone will have to wait for his/her turn to cast the ballot! Everyone is there for the same reason: to place their ballot for the 2008 election.
