Scriptures: Psalm 124:2-3 2“If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, When men rose up against us, 3Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their wrath was kindled against us (NKJV)
Nugget: I’ve heard the saying “If the Lord had not been by my side, where would I be?” Little did I know that these famous words were actually in the Bible! True enough, there’s nothing new under the sun, but it’s always a good feeling when we have that “Ahh Haa” moment!
There are so many things that we wouldn’t have made it through without our Lord by our side. What comfort we have in knowing that He is always & forever present; keeping us from hurt, harm, & danger. Now true enough, there will be things that we’re going to experience due to circumstances that arise, but never will God leave us.
Take some time today to reflect on where you would be if our Lord hadn’t been by your side. It’s amazing how differently all of our life stories would be without His presence.
