Growing

Many of us have heard the saying, “Everyone can’t go with you.” Basically, the place where God is preparing us to go to & what He’s doing in us will likely require letting some people & things go. As my journey continues, I’ve realized that some people can’t go with me, but they also cannot grow with me. There are times when people do not understand the process of what you’re going through, nor what you’re being developed for. That’s between you & God & what He’s revealed to you during your time with Him.

It’s not that the individuals didn’t serve a purpose along the journey; it’s just that their part in the journey has ended. They’ve imparted something in us & likely things that we’ll carry as we continue into the calling God has on our lives. AND we know that God has a plan for them, so the relationships were likely two-fold.

When God is taking you through your process, it can be tough, as well as stretching you to what He has next for you—spiritually, emotionally, physically, & mentally. The process is not an easy one, but don’t lose sight that God has an overall purpose & plan in mind—He’s developing you for His glory & what He has called you to do.

No, everyone can’t grow with you—it’s a part of life. Growth & maturity require the circles that we’re in to get smaller, which broadens our visions & mindsets to listen to God. Let God clear the way for what’s next. It’s going to be amazing!

Until next time.

Blessings,
