Nugget: A soft answer – it is the secret to stopping an argument before it starts. No matter how ticked off the other person is – it is most frustrating to fight on your own. Anger needs stirring; a soft answer is like throwing cold water on fire. You have the ability to determine if an argument will be curbed or if it will become an all out battle – the question is are you willing to give a soft answer?
