Daily Scriptures 10/2/13

Scripture: Proverbs 9:9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. (NKJV)

Nugget: I always say, “Every day I learn something new.” Every day is definitely an opportunity to do so, but do we utilize the opportunities available to us to do just that—accept instruction & increase in learning?

This scripture mentions giving instruction to a wise man; a person who’s willing to grow & to think outside-of-the-box. This is someone who’s open-minded, realizing he/she doesn’t know it all, but yet has the desire to grow beyond his/her current understanding.

Allow God to use your current situation/circumstance, as well as those around you, to show you the something new you didn’t know before; allow Him to enhance skills you’ve already developed to another level. Grow & increase in learning.
