Happy New Year!!

A new day and New Year are upon us!  I’m grateful that God has blessed us to see another new beginning.  2023 was a year that I’ll always remember for its lessons and blessings.  One of the blessings that I experienced in 2023 was my hubby and I celebrating our 1st year of marriage.  We learned a lot and will continue to do so as our years together continue.

To reflect a little, my word for 2023 was grace AND what a year of grace it was.  One of my lessons: I had to be intentional in the various areas in which I was oblivious or reluctant to offer grace to others.  One of the lessons here was to offer grace first and to watch how God worked things out.  He truly did work things out and showed me His heart for myself, others, and how He still blesses while showing us His will is to be completed.  He was and is always on time.  He also changed my heart and actions by helping me to see others differently; we are all dealing with something and need help or prayers in some way.  We need each other.

In spending time with God, He revealed my word for 2024 to me in various ways!!  This word kept coming up for me, not only in my spirit, but also in sermons, songs, devotionals, and conversations.  My word for 2024 is: hope

Hope, according to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, is the “desire accompanied by expectation of or belief in fulfillment.”  How fitting with all that I’m praying on and seeking from God for myself, my hubby, and others.  It’s going to come down to my hope and faith in God and all that He’s able to do, while He’s working on me and developing my faith muscles.

For my 2024 Anchor Verse, I was led to Hebrews 11:1 NKJV: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

It will come down to my faith in God, even on the days where I have mustard seed faith.  I have to release all to Him and believe.  According to His will, God can do anything and all things.

Sending prayers, faith, and hope your way.

Until next time.

Blessings,
